ACP Study Plans

Hi,

I am hoping this forum can point to a good study plan for the PMI-ACP.  I plan on taking the CSM class, and have taken several skill soft agile classes to obtain my 21 education hours.  I have purchased Mike Griffith's book and plan on buying Andy Crowe's book.  I have been referred the agileexam.com question bank.  Does anyone know if the PM fasttrack for the PMI-ACP are good?  Any other suggestions?

Thanks,

Amy

I am also lookinhg into it too,

Did you already submitted the application ?

How long does it take to get approval ? I know pmi-acp hand book says 10 days but . whats your experience

I have only filled out the application and I am in the process of finalizing it.  I would think around July there will be a delay with the changing of the test.

Does the approval of application take really 10 days ?

My experience has been like I applied on April 15th and it got approved on April 24th.

 Thanks praveenk13

Hi,

I think your plan looks good. Both books are popular. Dont know about PM fasttrack. I am also planning in future for ACP certification. Are you PMP certified ?

Thanks

Raju

Yes Raju, Seems like good plan

I did get the Andy Crowe book, and it is very good.  The CSM class was also very helpful as well.  My goal is to take this test in July.  I have noticed the content from the PMP studying is very helpful to know as well or so it seems.

Paying it forward. I used this site and felt the information shared by others really helped me pass the PMP a few years. I also used it for reference to help me prepare for the ACP exam. I passed the exam last week.

Here was my study strategy:

Read the Mike Griffiths Book - read it about twice. It provided a good foundation but alone, I don't I could of passed the exam.

Took the online prep class from ProPlanx.com to get the necessary PDU's. Good value for the class and I also bought the exam questions. I feel like the test bank really helped me build my foundation.

Bought the 360pmo test bank - which I thought were very close to the exam format style of questions. Thought it was worth the money.

I also, took the izenbridge.com free exam questions that someone suggested on this site. Questions were really good as well.

Lastly, these notes were great! Read them:

Due to work and family obligations, it took me roughly 3 months from the start of my studying to taking the exam. The exam was less difficult than the PMP. It took me about 2 hrs to complete the actual exam and got 2 MP's.

Good luck everyone!
Celia
