After 3 month study, i still feeling no confidence..

PMP Fighter's picture

I study PMBOK 1 time, RITA exam prep 1 time

Whizlab 800 question, all get 70-80% ,but i did it few times each, so i answer the question from memorize.

I join Linkedin "I want to be PMP" group and answer about 50 question from the members's discussion.

This week, i do 2 time RITA Fast track, the PMP exam,

I just got about 55% to 60% result, which is fail...

I saw some PMP holder said real PMP exam is more harder than RITA Fast Track.

I have no direction what can i do to fill my knowledge gap.

Best thing to do is give a second reading that's when you will enhance your 1st reading & fill in your gaps...

Practice as many questions as possible...set a target of questions you have to do before your exam date...like 3000 or 5000...

Hope you don't lose and gain courage by reading those two books once again & 3rd time if possible.

I recently cleared my PMP eaxm..  and I don't think that Real  exam is more tuff then Rita Fast track.. Here is what I did.. Good Luck.

Rita Fast Track =1600 Qn s
K Woods=   2000 Qns
C Scardo = 1600 Qns
Head  First = 200 Qns
PM Study =  800  Qns
Oliver = 175 Qns
Andy Crowe   =200  Qns

Total  6750

Just keep on trying. Think of it this way. If it was easy the certifcation would not mean anything. You really have to put the hours in. Almost like you are training to be a professional athlete. Take a crack at this exam let me know what you score.

Hi PMP fighter

All the Best !

Hi PMP Fighter,

You need to fill your gaps First.  The gaps comes to know after attending lot of mock tests.

Every line in the PMBOK is important.  PMBOK is blueprint.  Rita is finished goods.

1. Perfect on Rita Chart : What comes before, what comes after, etc..

   Practice this : http://pmp.aamirafridi.com/_rpg/index-3.html

2. Perfect on ITTO : Everybody saying its not neccessary to remember.  I agree.   But you need to practice b4 attending exam.  Without practice its very hard to identify in the real exam because of tension and lot of mark questions need to review and time maintenance.

3.  You need to concentrate of EVM calculations.

4.  Conflict management questions or important.  Its look like hard to select Compromise,Smoothing and Problem Solving.

Thanks,

Lax
