I found this word on a sample question set : behind budget." ???? ... What is the meaning of it? Over Spent or less spent ?
according to the explanation of the above question , it was over budget… but it's wrong.. i think
it must be under budget

'Behind budget' usually means
'Behind budget' usually means that the actual costs are exceeding the forecast/estimate.
