CertChamp - Closure question
Submitted by philzs on Mon, 02/23/2015 - 13:39
you are in charge of a project to build a bridge across a river. You are midway through the project. However due to changes in environmental laws the project can no longer proceed and would need to terminated. Executive management has asked you to document the level of work completed for the project. This would be done in which of the processes ?
A. Project closure
B. Contract Closure
C. Project charter
D. Scope Verification
what do you think here ?

Answer for Closure question
Correct answer : A. Project closure
When any project gets terminated, PM starts the project closure process is done and the following tasks are completed as a part of this process
1. close procurement and make payments to your vendors/contractors
2. document the status of work completed and accepted
3. document the reason for project termination
4. gather lesson learnt
5. update the project records
6. report final performance if any
7. release resources
8. update the organizational process assets
9. solicit feedback from customer
Hope this helps!
