Composite Vs Matrix Organization

 How to clearly differentiate composite organization from Matrix, both seems like a mixture of Functional and projectized.

 Composite organization involves all or combination of those structures (matrix, projectized..) in various levels that result to overlapping of resources. For instance, staff A is assigned to project B and at the same time also assigned to Project A.

 Composite organization is basically a combination of all other organization types (functional, projectized, matrix)

Think of it an organization where one project is being done in Balanced Matrix way, while another is being done in Functional way. And then they also have another project being done as Projectized way. So in a sense there is no fix organization type but a combination of all others.

In matrix organization if it is a balanced matrix for e.g. then all projects will be done that way i.e. whole organization is balanced matrix.
