This is 4rth line from top of page 214 PMBOK 4E
Lessons learned are documented throughout the project life cycle, but at a minimum, during project closure.
What does it mean, is it some typing error or missing?

Lessons learned are documented
Lessons learned are documented throughout the project life cycle, but at a minimum, during project closure.
What is troubling you for this? When working on a project from initiation to M&C you make majority of lesson learnt information. In reality it’s generally between the end of planning phase to the end of M&C.
Project closure is not the phase where you work on project deliverables. It’s more for closure formalities. How would you document lesson learn here? During closure what lesson learnt will you make?
Archiving the document is majorly done during end phase. Archiving is saving (persisting) and not collecting information that happens majorly before project closure.
Pawar Ji – what happened, everything all right?

It means
Respected Pawarji Sir,
It means it is a wonderful concept to document LLs during the entire course of the project, however, due to one reason or the other if it is not documented throughout the project, it should be definitely documented during project closure.
It is fine if you document the LLs during closure only and not throughout.
Warmly, KK...
