Which book you refer more , depends on the learning style which you feel suitable. according to my experience Rita's book serves as suppliment to PMBOK. my advise - you may refer any book or study material for your studies, first complete atleast 1 go of PMBOK. I have documented my LL in details at blog. I hope you will find it useful.
Rita's book can take more time, There is nothing unusual about this. When you are taking more time, please understand that you may be new to concept , so do spend time in understanding before you move on to next topic.
