EAC Calculation - help
Submitted by shsh_shah on Sat, 11/02/2013 - 21:50
A project was budgeted at $1,000,000. Meanwhile, the project is executed, and the following current figures have been assessed:
PV: $500,000
EV: $450,000
AC: $550,000
Assuming that the cost variance was caused by one-time cost drivers, which are no more effective, what estimate at completion (EaC) can you derive from these figures?
o $900,000
o $1,000,000
o $1,100,000
o $1,222,222
Anybody help on the answer?

Looks like is a EAC
Looks like is a EAC variances atypical since "cost variance was caused by one-time cost drivers, which are no more effective"
EAC = AC + (BAC - EV)
EAC = 550,000 + (1,000,000 - 450,000)
EAC = 1,100,000
