Earning the 35 PDU for appearing for PMP exam

 Hi

I am planning to prepare for the PMP exam.

While filling up the online form, the section where 235 PDU need to be earned is there.

Can somebody guide me on what are the acceptable education considerd for PDU?

Should i attend a training to gain the PDU or would online education be good enough?

Please provide me clear guidelines on what is considered as Project Management education to appear for the exam

35 PDU Earnings

           I can guide you get the 35 PDUs. 

 

There are two options:-

1. Physical Classes.

2. Online classes.

 

           I have acquired 35 PDUs in Rs 2500/- only. For more clarification you can mail me to ritasarma0@gmail.com.

There could be multiple solution here. The best one according to me is that get enroll for 2 days full time PMP workshop class provided by various REP's. It would cost you around INR 10,000 to 12,000. Apart from getting 35 hours PDU you will also get a chance for face to face interaction with some expert PMP faculty who can help you in resolving lots of PMP queries and give you some good direction.

I have a question though:

I have attended a training on Project Management Fundamentals arranged by my compnay.

This was a 3 day training and 24 contact hours.

Will this qualify for the 24 out of the expected 35 contact hours?

Yes, it qualifies provided your company HR issue you a certificate on company letter head saying that you have attended total of 24 hours of workshop on “Project Management” on the following days [provide the dates here].
