Enterprise environmental factors

Question from PMP practice makes perfect

In order for a project to be successful, the project manager must consider various enterprise environmental factors. Which of the following lists contain only enterprise environmental factors?

  1. Business need, product scope description, Lessons Learned knowledge base, and strategic plan
  2. Government standards, infrastructure, and project management information systems
  3. Standardized cost estimating data; strengths, weaknesses/limitations, opportunities, and threats (SWOT) analysis; and industry risk study information
  4. Automated tool suite, electronic document repository, and configuration management system

Answer is

B.

Examples of enterprise environmental factors include government standards, infrastructure, and project management information systems. Business need, product scope description, and strategic plan make up the project statement of work (SOW), which makes Option A incorrect. Although not necessarily incorrect, standardized cost estimating data and industry risk study information are examples of commercial databases. Likewise, automated tool suite and configuration management are examples of project management information systems.

What about "electronic document repository", this is a very generic tool, may not be part of EEF

Any project run data or historical data base will be part of OPA updates. Or part of OPA It is electronic documents depository mean should be part of OPA.
