Found the word 'Congratulations' - cleared PMP on 25th July

Firstly, would like to thank my family for bearing with me for the past 30 days. Thanks a lot for PMzilla and members who have actively been suporting exam takers. Not possible without you!

Books referred

PMBOK, Rita, Wikipedia & 5th edition book from my Training center - PMCC

quality control tools, mainly control charts - www.thequalityweb.com

Study plan

3-4 hours on weekdays and 12 hours on weekends, with a few days off ;-)

Mock Tests

Taken few mock tests(Olivers 75 +175, Tough 30, examcentral, PMPforSure100, Ritas book questions,

scordo), but important to identify the gaps and fill after each mock test.

Apart from those receommended on PMzilla, Effective PMC was a challenging exam which i strongly recommend. Though i failed it, i could find gaps. You must take PMstudy, Simplilearn and Edwel, as i could not take due to short of time.

Prior to Exam Day

Rofa's notes and Abhishek-RNair Notes were useful.

Anil Thanguturi's cheatsheet was good, mainly the processflow among the Control Processes

Understanding ITTOs more helpful (Also categorising based on some unique ways would also help to remember; like very few processes have only one T&T, EEF are updated only in couple of processes...)

Exam Day

Reached the site 45 mins early. Because of Morning slot, too many test takers in reception and managed to get through saving fresh mind.

During Exam, aimed to complete by 3.3 hrs, but ended up to spare only 12 mins, where i could answer the unanswered questions and hardly review around 10 marked ones. strongly believe that i have corrected few marked ones during review, so try to review all marked ones with a new-look.

Passed with 4MPs and 1P. PMzilla Forum really helped me stay focussed and capture all the necessary and important informations. Thanks again friends.

All the best for future test takers esp, those going for the 5th Edition from Tomorrow :-)

Cheers
