Good PMP Mock Test and Rita's book?

I wanted to know from various users if you can suggest which are the good PMP Mock Test that I can try online. I am looking only for the online one. I know Pmstudy is good. Do we have some more good one? I was thinking to purchase some good test, any suggestions?


Any suggestions if Rita (7th edition) is necessary over Rita (6) now. I am reading Rita 6th now?

I have Rita's v7, tho i have not read yet the whole book and i cannot tell exactly the difference. But as far as i know, here are the differences:

1. PM PMP Exam Prep v6 is before the PMP Exam changes prior to Aug 2011. After Aug 2011, v7 was released. Just like baseline schedule, it has to be updated hehe!

2. v6 is complementary with the simulation v6. In the same manner, Book 7 is complementary with simulation v7 If you are using Book 6, and at the same time using the simulation and u updated the simulation to the latest, the reference may not be correct. Hence, if you have book 6, do not upgrade ur simulation v6 to v7 nor its database.

3. V6 simulation has 1,502 questions while v7 has about 1,570 questions.

4. Rita's book and simulation is very good. Tho, others are also good. They have different styles and approach in explaining and making mock exams, the bottomline is all are refered to PMBOK4. Sometimes, one's approach may not be compatible with somebody(pmp aspirant)'s comprehension ability due to individual differences. :-)

First 2 months:



  • Read Rita(6th) 2 times and PMBok 2 times, Kim Heldman(optional). Make sure you read all Rita’s questions and its answer explanation at the end of each chapter.

  • Get PmZilla tough test and use it during your study, as it’s a good mind opener and study your missing weak areas

  • Read head first questions and its explanation

 


Last 1 month:



  • First 15 Days – Try all free test you get along with PMStudy Free Test (recommended), if you want, get the PMStudy 4th Test if you do not find Free test suiting your expectations.

  • 15 days before the actual PMP Exam – Get pmpforsure.com Test package and try all their test. They have PMP type questions, not easy and not tough. All mix up type and that’s what you need to practice during your last days to make sure you get the actual feel of PMP exam.
