I have a vast experience of 20 years on managerial positions, in manufacturing industry, telecom and services companies. I have also got PM Diploma of 6 month duration. Now my question is “Am I eligible for PMP certification?”
I passed PMP exam on Dec 28th. I prepared for the exam in three weeks. Logging 4-5 hrs of study time on weekdays and about 3 full lenght exams for three days (so 4hrs/day). Comments on this site were very helpful. I would certainly say the exam is moderately/less difficult than I expected. I scored 70 (oliverhel and PM study)-87% (head first, andy crowe) on practice exams.
Read Head first twice and Andy crowe's once. PMBOK used for refernece during practice exam.
Questions on exam were 90% situational, lot of questions oon quality and change requests.
There are some questions that I was not so sure in the beginning but the exam gave away answers to them in later questions.
Finally the toughest part was concentrating on test after 2 hrs.....I should have took couple of breaks, instead I took only one and it really helped.
