How long does it take for PMI to respond to an application?

I applied for the certification on Sunday (17th) and just recieved a confirmation at that time.

1. Most forums said it takes 4-5 business days for a revert but i was curious if it actually takes that long/

2. Also, do they always reply to an application or is it only when they approve the application?

3. Lastly, what are the possibilities if an application gets rejected and when can we reply if it does?

 

Any help/ suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

 

I plan to give my PMP assesment within a week of getting an approval.

Bhavesh,

Can you please tell me regarding the summary details of projects (the applicant has undergone). Is it a good idea to write it in bullet points or a paragraph is fine?

Another important question is Does PMI actually goes through it and takes this much pain...considering that on an average lacs of applications hit their portal?

Please suggest !
