I am writing this to help all my firends who plan to clear the pmp exam  in next 60 days. I will be talking about the things one should and should not do. Though i would advise to keep at least 3 months time frame , but there are situations one can not apprehend .SO i would be creating this content over the next seven days , and posting a few insights each day.

Stage 1 :

1-6 days :  Go through the PMBOK.Read the entire PMBOK.The key take aways from this reading should be the following :

1) Learn all the process groups

2) Learn all the names of the Knowledge Areas

3)  Learn all the names of the Processes

also you should learn which knowledge are has which processes and falss under which process group.

I am asking you to learn only these things, irrespective of what other people say.As you proceed with your studies, it will eventually be a big boon for all.Needless to say this forms the basics of your study.Also needles to say when you read the PMBOK once , you will gather around may be 10-20% of what is there.But it will actually set you up for your future prep stage. It will develop an appreciation of the topics , give you a heads up on the jargon is use,You will actually start exploring the concepts , terms used in the book. For the first week if you are done with this , you have made an excellent progress.
