-------------------------------------------
It is a Q from a well reliable and so far most helping website of PMP.
Millions of people are benefited from this site. its questions ranking and web designing is the best of my knowledge.
But above q and its answer is not convincing to me, could you explain what is correct answer. My answer is A.

PMBOK mentioned
PMBOK mentioned that:
Resource Leveling can often causes the original critical path to change.
There is no mention of increase or decrease in critical path .
We apply resource leveling generally on critical path with the aim of decreasing project duration from its original duration.
I would say it would Decrease the critical path.

Resource Leveling
If your project has an over-allocated resources and you can't throw in any more resources then you can fix it my doing resource leveling. You can either delay an activity until the assigned resource has time to work on it (that is if the resource was assigned more than one activity) OR split the activity. Both will definitely lengthen your project duration. Overallocation can occur if more works are assigned to be done than the resources' available time. Resource leveling may also increase your cost.
Decrease in project duration can be achieved through schedule compression (fastracking & crashing).

Yes...
Respected Pawarji Sir,
More people are there to complete an assignment. Now due to resource leveling people are reduced and have gone elsewhere, as deemed fit by their managers.
First, there were 10 people to complete an assignment and now it has dropped down to 6 due to resource leveling, therefore, it will take more time or duration would increase.
Warmly, KK...
