I am happy to share this news that I've achieved PMP target today on the first try with 4P and 1MP (planning).

Directly coming to the acutal exam, it was average and not tough.  Only around 25 questions seemed to be tough.  I didnt find any mock test to be closer to actual one, not even pmstudy free mock.  Lot of questions on risk, conflicts, procurement and EVM.  EVM questions were quite easy.  Few questions on time management and some of them were tough.  From ITTO, few questions on I & O but many related to TT.  Its not required to memorize I & O but its better that you are aware of and remember all TT.  I didn't memorize I & O and applied logic to answer, but was quite sure about almost all TT.

Regarding the preparation, I read Head First, Andy Crowe, Rita, Kim Heldman and PMBOK.  I don't think that it is necessary to read PMBOK.  Rita is also not required if you don't like the tone used in the book.  To me, Kim Heldman is the best.  You can start with either Head First or Andy followed by Kim Heldman.  It is very important to do mock tests.  I did Rita Fast Track (good), Christopher Scordo (average), PMStudy free (good), Head First questions (easy), Insite Velociteach (good - I got 1 week free trial to Insite with Andy book), PMP For Sure (good), Brainbok (average).  Though the actual test is not close to any one, taking mock tests builds the muscles required for the actual test and very much required.

I am grateful to PMZilla and all the contributors.  This forum has provided good insite, direction and content in different discussions which is very helpful in PMP preparations.

Good luck to all of you who are on the path of achieving PMP.
