Need help on Quality question
Which of the following is least true?
A)
Pareto diagrams typically identify the 20% of all possible root causes that are responsible for 80% of the problems.
B)
In project QC, both product-related deliverables and project management deliverables are monitored.
C)
Statistical sampling means that inspection of only 50%, instead of 100% of the population, reduces testing time by half.
D)
Prevention over inspection is a project quality concept.
The answer guide says the correct answer is C).
That doesn't make sense to me. Can anyone help me understand this?

Yes C is correct. A is true
Yes C is correct.
A is true for Pareto
B is correct as well bcoz you monitor both product and project deliverable
D is also correct coz that is the quality concept.
C is incorrect becoz stats sampling doesn't specifically say about how much % of sampling is good (like in example 50% ) without knowing the total polouation. And you can not necessary conclude that it surely reduces testing time by half, hence incorrect.
