I would say for

Q1) it is choice 2

Project Files - includes docs like PM Plan, Scope, Schedule..

Q2) it is Choice 3

Historical Info - now the project files become part of the historical info as the project is done.

I would go with choice 4 for Q1, sicne the configuration management system keeps the track of all the changes to the deliverables. All t mentioned documents are deliverables for the project, which keeps the latest version of the document. He says while managing the project not closure.


The Q2 with choice 4 is because the in peoject closing these are referred as archiving project records.

A2. I believe choice 3, coz..

Historical information fits the given explanation more..

Also Project/Phase closure documents does not mention those explicitly and it is more about Closure formalities in case of normal  & termination scenario etc.

When you say 'direct question', do you mean to say directly from PMBOK4? I searched a soft copy for 'project files' and could not find an occurrence of it.
