 Assuming that the critical path of your project has duration of ten days, which of the following cannot affect the project timelines?

  1. If the project has one critical path, you are able to decrease the duration of the critical path by one day by using a new tool.
  2. If the project has one critical path, you have to increase the duration of the critical path by one day due to delays.
  3. If the project has two critical paths, you are able to decrease the duration of one critical path by one day by using a new tool.
  4. If the project has two critical paths, you have to increase the duration of one critical path by one day due to delays.

Could be 3.

Though one of the critical path decreases(less than 10) and other critical path (=10)remains same.

Yep, should be 3:
- Only one critical path -> changing it impacts total project timelines -> 1 & 2 false
 - Two critical paths -> increasing one makes it the new unique critical path -> impact on total project timeline -> 4 false

- Two critical paths -> decreasing one makes it non-critical and leaves one critical path -> no impact on total project timeline -> 3 true
