14 Days out from PMP Exam Date - Need advice on study plan.
Hi Everyone,
First off, want to thank everyone who posts and responds on this site. I discovered this site about a week ago and it has been EXTREMELY helpful in giving me more insights into the exam.
Today is 6/29/2013 and I am scheduled to take the exam on 7/17/2013. I realistically have exactly 14 days to take the exam as I will be on travel for 4 days. I wanted some advice on how I should focus my efforts. I work from home and the next 2 weeks I should be able to have at least 5 hours per day to study.
This is what I have done so far:
- Started studying for the exam May 20th. There was about 10 days I couldn't study because of a bad flu.
- I have read through Rita's book about 3 times. I have taken her chapter exams 3 times. First two times I took the chapter exams I was getting between 65%-80%. This last time, I'm getting over 80% on all the exams.
- I've generally spent more time reading and studying.
Going forward I was going to:
- Take the Headfirst labs Free 200 MC exam
- Purchase all 200 PMstudy exams - 4 exams in total
- I have a couple of friends who took some of the PMP prep courses and there are two full length practice exams I was gonna take from that material
- I was also going to try and skim through PMBOK again
- I've memorized the 42 step process as well as the planning chart in Rita's Chart.
Thanks again!
