 I answered C as well but accordign to PMStudy, the right answer is B "problem solving/withdrawal" and problem solving is similar to "confronting" but PMBOK says "Forcing" is the worst option.....confused

 

any one with more insight?

Forcing is the worst option as per RITA.

pmbok is silent in this regard.

No terminology like Problem Solving exists and neverheless, it has the same meaning of Confrontation. Hence the option B should be eliminated.


In case of withdrawal, it gives the opportunity to the team members to decide as per their experience irrespective of its consequence in the long run. Hence this should not be worst option. However Forcing forces the team members to act in the directions of PM which can pinch anyone


Therefore, Confrontation and Forcing are the best and worst choices
