Recieving Certificates

I cleared my PMP this Monday. I was told that the Certificates takes 6-7 weeks to be shipped to your address. Just wanted to know how soon the PMI site gets updated with your credentials. Can I start using the PMP credential before the PMI site gets updated.

Within a couple of days
Hi,
I passed my exam on the 20th of this month. And while I continue to wait for my certificate to arrive in mail, I did receive an email from PMI within a couple of days of passing and also noticed that they updated my status on their website.

I wrote exam on Sat and got
I wrote exam on Sat and got email on Monday from PMI about the results and I could search myself in their registry, which is good enough to start using your title PMP :)

The answer is YES.
One can start using/claiming the PMP credential from the moment s/he passes the exam and receives a scorecard (from the test center) which says so.
