PMP application question

Hi All, When looking to fill out the application, I've worked numerous projects that did not involve a team, it was just self initiated or self executed projects based on proactive work or supervisor direction.  Do situations like this count considering no team involvement?  It will definately help in attaining the required months and hours needed to qualify for the PMP exam.

Any feedback is much appreciated.  Thank you!

It doesnt matter if you are working in silos. But if you are trying to say that you were alone in the entire project, this wont be acceptable by PMI. I have gone through few applications which went for audit and in all those I  ound that applicant was working on operations or not a defined project. They also have authority to reject an application

Thank you for your reply.  That helped.  When I did these projects I always needed to bring other people in (if even only a few on some, somewhere through the process) so I was never alone through the entire task.  Several of them were less formal than that which require charters so the only proof I would have is my manager's sign off on the info.

So based on your response, I'm assuming that by bringing other areas in and utilizing SME's, they would qualify but my only issue would be documented proof.

If I've misspoke, please let me know.  Thanks again for your response :)
