The final step

I know this is an old topic but the confusions are still there..

Which is the order of these steps??

* Measure customer satisfaction
* Release project team
* Ensure termination of all relevant agreements

First you should terminate all agreements and pay your vendors.
Measure client satisfaction
Release the project team

Now measuring client satisfaction should happen after they have used the product of the project. Typically you can give some time before you collect feedback.

In our organization, the first feedback we collect is after 6 months of engagement with client. This is done even when the project is in progress, then its a recurring activity to take feedbacks every 6 months to 1 year and make corrections based on client feedback.

The above order is not fixed and it will depend on context of the question. if we are measuring the satisfaction with end product then team would have been released already. If measuring satisfaction is like I described above then Release team would be last step.

was waiting for this..

One last qn.

"the terminate all contracts " here is different from the close procurements right?

Will this include any claims pending decision in courts etc?
Some litigations extending over the project time period.

Generally when we say terminate all contracts it has to do with Procurement contracts and paying the vendors. Litigation s must be resolved , if possible before the closures.
