Quality audit

What is a quality audit?
a) A structured review of quality management activities.
b) A team meeting dedicated to measuring and examinations.
c) A quality based inspection of work results.
d) A meeting with the customer to identify quality requirements.

Why is the answer not c?

Hi,

This ia my view

A- Quality audit is not reviewing the quality managamenet activities itself, BUT inspeact the product/result
B- Quality audit is not a Team meeting
D- " meeting with the customer to identify quality requirements." is requirement gathering NOT quality audit.

C- is correct because, in planning we already planned what quality we need to follow. At the time of execution we will inspect reqularly whether our product is within the acceptable quality range.

Audit and Inspection must not be confused. Audit is generally to point out gaps in process and does not deal with check the end product or service. Inspection check the product and highlights the gaps.

Hi Admin,

//Audit is generally to point out gaps in process and does not deal with check the end product or service.//

In that case option C should not be correct. It is dealing with work results.

I don;t think so that option c is correct. I am asking why it is incorrect. I am still confused with both inspection and audit. Can someone clearly define the difference and also what is the correct answer for the above queston.
