My D-Day scheduled next 17th August..need support

1- What is the required correct percentage of pass the real exam 2- My exam simulation still giving 70 % till now...is this good or still so bad. 3- I have studied only through PMBOK and Rita Book and Rita fastrack simulator. please support...What do I need during next two weeks to be ready....because I can`t postpone or reschedule the exam.. Thanks

If you're getting 70% on your simulations you should do just fine on the exam! I haven't taken mine yet (I'm slated for the 6th) and terrified. I can't seem to get past 60-68% and quizzes are even worse. But I've invested too much time, money and effort into this exam to quit - so I'm going in with "guns blazing" pass or epic fail - I tried. So please, rest assured, if you can get consistent 70% breathe and celebrate big time when you pass.
I don't know if that was a great pep talk, but from where I'm sitting - you're on the right track! You'll do great!

Thank you top sgma
please keep contact with me to give me positive feeling till your schedule at 6th.

try to study hard these 2 days left.

Thank you malim, for remembering and for contacting me after my exam. Unfortunately I did not pass ;( I'm going to need to study more and not let certain questions slow me down. I thought I had the critical path method down, but I was not ready for the one they had on the exam! It got me so flustered I spent 25 minutes trying to figure it out which then put me behind on the rest of the test. I know now not to spend time on one or two question when there are 198 other questions that need my attention. I also realized I need to put a little more time on the ITTOs - there is a lot more importance on those than I was prepared for also.
I will study more and then try again around the first week of September.
Again, thank you for remembering and for taking the time to ask how I did!

Your are Ready,

Keep doing mock test till the D-Day

Best wishes and update us with your score

Please go thru the areas that you have got maximum questions wrong during your preparation. Out of the 5 areas, You cannot afford to get BP in planning, executing and M&C for a exam PASS. There can be exceptions in this forum but that will be rare.

Pl spend some time to revise Tuckmann Ladder, Conflict resolution, calculation of TCPI/CPI/SPI and all combinations problems, different relationships FS/SS/FF examples, critical path after crashing/fast tracking, reserves for risk, risk types and strategies, motivation theories of HR, integrated change control, project cancellation steps, diff between secondary risks and residual risks.

Lastly some questions are meant to confuse you and pl do not spend a lot of time beyond 2-3 minutes on any question. mark them and you will have chance to come back at the end for revision.

Hope this helps

Hi All, I'll be appearing for the PMP exam on Sept 11, but am in very poor state. Is there anyone from Noida/NCR region who is writing the exam around the same time, let's please connect and help eacjother in preparing. Thanks, Sharad (sharad.kapoor84@gmail.com)

You should be within 75% on mock exams but on the PMI exam it is around 62% on a bell curve.
