PMP sample ques - is this wrong answer?

You recently went on an official trip to another country to discuss a business proposition with a potential vendor. The vendor took you out for lunch and offered you gifts, as it is customary in that country. You must:

 

Tell the vendor that you cannot accept the gifts as per company policy

 

Accept the gifts as it is a local custom and promptly inform your manager

 

Return the gifts, because accepting them could be interpreted as a personal gain

 

Accept the gifts, as they are not very expensive


 


It says answer is 2. accept the gift. while I thought its 3. return thr gifts.


Will appreciate help on this. Thanks

From my perspective B is the right answer


 


let me try to explain, if you read the questions carefully, it say that "gift it is a customary in that country" It means, that doesnt' accept the gift could be taken as an offence.


It's difference if the vendor offer you a car or house.....
