PMP Exam Prep - Rita's 6th edition study material

Need Help!! -  I recently sat for the PMP exam and failed...  ..  So now I'm studying for my exam again and I'm using Rita's 6th edition, but also found that changes are being made after 8/31.  Is Rita's 6th edition still sufficient or do I need to purchase her 7th edition.

Any assistance would help me greatly.. thanks

Hi  Cynthia,

If you give exam before 31-Aug-11 then 6th Edition will do but after that you will require to purchase a new edition.  You can check out more on Rita site where they r doing pre-booking and offering discount.

Here are my 2 bits.

The change is only to the exam pattern and not to the content. The exam is still based on PMBOK Guide  edition 4.

Professional responsibility and code of ethics will not be tested as a separate module, instead will be tested along with all other process groups.

According to me we must still understand the Code of Ethics and study it seperately and then apply to all the project management activities.

My take is, if we understand the concepts as given in the PMBOK Edition 4 and Rita edition 6 , there is not need to invest more money on 7th edition.
