By the grace of Allah , Today I have passed the PMP exam. It's a great feeling after so much hard work put into the preparation. Exam was not to hard neither easy. Most of the questions are of 1 to 2 lines. Earned Value Questions were very simple except the one which I was not able to answer and made a guess :)

 

My journey:

1) Started from PMP preperation group at SSUET from Jan to Mar 2011.

2) After completing the course start prepration for the exam

3) Became PMI member on 22 May 2011

4) Start preparing the application (application took around 15/20 days) and submitted on 20 Jun. Special thanks to Asad Ullah Sir for providing Experience Sheet without this it would be very difficult to fill the application form.

5) Application approval received on 25 Jun

6) Exam fee paid on 23 July

7) Mean while i was reading Head First and PMBok and for more reference read Rita.

8) By the end of july Head First is complete.

9) Took practice exams

ExamCentral (74%)

brainbok (66%)

PM Cert (70%)

Head First 200 Questions (81%)

PM Perfect (73%)

10) After reading Head First complete again revise all chapters from PMBok again.

11) Sehedule my exam on 10 Aug and reserve 15Aug for the exam.

12) 2days before exam (Again read all the chapters from PMBok line by line)

13) Review some notes which i made during prepration

14) Pray to Allah for success and go to Prometric for the Exam

15) Finally Passed and writing all this to share with you.
