I think its by meaning very clear - when CPI or CV or SPI or SV are not changing with due coarse of time of any project in its said run length, EV sceinario will be called as typical,(similar- matching trend) and ETC shall be = BAC-EV/CPI and EAC = BAC/CPI
while if there is change like project progress is accelarating or retarding (jumping - not uniform)
then ETC = EAC - AC as universally .and EAC = AC + BACremained/CPInew
