Study approach Process Area Vs Knowledge Area

Hi


What should be the approach for the preparation especially for beginers who dont have any PM experience at all.


should it be process area wise(i.e Initiating till closing) or knowledge area wise(i.e communication management,Time management etc)?

I would say you should start with Process Group wise and you understand the project process flow at high level and you can better visualize the overall project management process. Once the high level understanding is done you should get deep into each Knowledge areas processes.
