Suggestions to clear the exam - just one week more to face
Submitted by Sangeetha.R on Sun, 03/10/2013 - 18:19
Hi all,
I have planned for PMP exam on 18/3. I have read PMBOK twice and rita once.
I am finding very difficult to choose the answer for the situational(scenarios based) questions. I find that as my weak area.
Please suggest how to build that and give me some tips to clear the exam
Thanks,
Sangee

The only way to answer
The only way to answer situational questions is to practice them. There are many good mock tests which provide with loads of such questions.
Good exams are PMSTUDY 1 to 4, Simpli learn, Skill Sign (50 ques) and many more are there, but since you only have 1 more week, this is more than sufficient. All the best!!!

Arun.

Hi Sunita,
I didnt take any Simpli Learn paid exams and I dont think that is required. The free exam will do.

Did you try PMSTUDY free
Did you try PMSTUDY free test? If not yet, please spend some time on it. It is very useful. My advice is not to try all the scordo tests. Please try exam 9 and then 13 to 18. It covers almost everything.

Arun.

Dear Sangetha & AP,Best of
Dear Sangetha & AP,
Best of luck for your exam.
Now both of you have roughly a week left. Take as many mock tests as you can, and find out the gaps in your knowledge. May I suggest the following :
1. Cover the gaps, by attending as many mock tests as you can.
2. Go through the glossary at least twice,
3. Go thru the sections about Ethics in Rita- beleive me, most people focus on the KAs and ignore the ethics part. It will help you to score easy points, as you might get direct questions.
4. Revise all the theories and theorists in HR & QA- again you will be able to answer direct questions easily
