Paid for Exam, but application is being audited!

Hey guys,
Just to give a heads up, I paid for my exam yesterday and just when I completed the payment, it said I've been "randomly" selected for an audit.
Pretty unprofessional to tell you you're being audited AFTER you've paid for the exam. But, hey I'll get through it. It also extends your time for a year after the audit is complete.

Yes that is how it works. If what you have stated is correct in your application, then nothing to worry. On positive side the audit process prevents people from faking application and keeps PMP valuable in the market, which is what the certified professionals would want :)
