Passed PMP last month: used simplilearn.com for prep
Dear Fello Zillas,
It gives me great pleasure to share the news with you guys that I cleared my PMP Exam last month.
A bit about how I went about the preparation:
Choice of prep course:
I was really didn't want to enroll in any classroom based workshops or boot camps as I never could believe that I could learn all about PM in a very short period of 3-5 days. So I was looking for an online course which could let me prepare at my own pace. I checked out a few of leading providers on the internet and found simplilearn.com to be the most suitable because of the following reasons:
Very easy to follow course material in the form of audio-video chapters,
Free vitual classroom sessions for doubt clarification etc.
Free full-length pmp tests
And more than anything else, I could use a demo chapter to feel how the content and only after that I was prompted to pay.
Once I had signed up with simplilearn.com, I spent 2 hours every weekday and 5 hours every weekend to prepare for the PMP Exam. It took me exactly 5 weeks for me to finish the preparation and I cleared the exam!!
Guys at Simplilearn also helped me with the application process with the PMI.
So a very good learning experience with clearing PMP Exam.
So anybody preparing for PMP, all the best for your exams. And I hope my Simplilearn.com Review helps some of you guys make a decision with regards to your exam prep.
Warm Regards,
Prakash

Re: Passed PMP last month: used simplilearn.com for prep
Hello Prakash,
I am also preparing for PMP and would like to know if I should go for the free test on simplilearn.com or should go for the paid ones. Is there any difference in these two types of tests in terms of no. of questions or analysis etc.
Thanks,
Ahmed
