Passed PMP today - 1st Attempt

Cleared PMP exam today in first attempt.

Proficient in 2 Processes and Moderately proficient in the remaining...feeling relaxed now after over 2 months of preparation

This forum has been really helpful for the exam tips

My way of preparation

1. PMBOK - read only once

2. PMP study guide by Kim Heldman - read once thoroughly & one revision

THIS book is THE best as the concept as required for the exam are beautifully explained.

3. Rita's PMPfastrack tests - Help you prepare for the exam

4. There were not any complex mathematical questions, neither many of input,TT questions. The key here is if you really understand the process you can answer the inputs/TTs from the available choices.

5. Surprising during early part of the test, I found many easy & short questions.

6. Many question were situation based and I found difficult questions related for professional responsibility and PMI ethics.

7 There were 3-4 question for which I found no correct answer even after reviewing 2-3 times.so it is OK to accept that you will not able to answer some questions.

8 Finished answering all questions in 3 hrs.Spent the balance time in reviewing the marked questions.

9.Key to passing this exam - You have to understand all the processes of PMP thoroughly.Have to invest time reading the books.

Thankyou PM Zilla.
