Passed PMP today

Hello Everyone,


I just passed PMP exam today. [  Initiation = Moderate profecient  and rest 4 are Proficient.]


I sincerely thank the group members for excellent support.


I spent arount 45 days for preparation.  PMBOK & Rita 6 Edition are the books.  Took 4 or 5 sample test highlighted in this website.


I spent 3 hours and 50 minutes to answer all questions.  Only 10 minutes left for review and changed one answer only.  Exam was much easier and straight forward compared to the practise tests.  Many math questions (could be 20) and many ITTO based questions (could be 15 to 20).

Dear Abdul Khadar,

Congratulations on achieving PMP.

Which 4-5 test you took and how much did you score?

Can you write more about the actual PMP exam, its question type, its difficulty level etc. I have to give my PMP exam next month and I am so much worried from now.

Dear Kumar,


You can find all the tests in the "PMP Exams and Links" of this site.  I was scoring around 75% in the tests.


I feel that the questions in main exam are of better quality than the practise tests.  The most important thing is in the practise tests is to make sure that you understand the wrong questions and refer to them in your study materials.  This will help you to understand the subject. 


I used Brainbok ittos.  They were quite helpful to understand ITTOS. 


I feel that the questions are lengthy and take time to answer. I think doing multiple practise tests will help you to adjust to the exam environment.


If you are reading chapter end questions from Rita, the main exam questions will look like that.
