PMP

Hello,


First of all I would like to thank everyone here..for the help and suggetions..Finally I am gearing up..Have started by hearting the process and knowledge area in PMBOK 5 (page 61) and happy to say..learnt it well..I am writing it on daily basis.


Can anyone sugget me..If i can get something like this for ITTO as well..because ther are too many ITTOS and somehow I forget a good no. from that..


Any help will be highly appreciated.

Nisha,

First, I hope the "admin" for PMZilla doesn't mind my participating on his/her website.  This is a wonderful website and I was told about this website in November 2012 when I first started studying to pass the PMP.  I often tell my website customers about the importance and value of www.PMZilla.com .

Nisha, as for your ITTO question, my simplest answer is study for the PMP thoroughly and take extensive practice tests.  The practice tests will show you your weak "ITTO gaps".  For me, I knew my weak ITTO areas were in Quality and Procurement.

Then memorize ITTO for your weak areas.  Do NOT try to memorize all of ITTO.  It's a bad idea.

Thank you Richard..I have started picking some advice from you..I write 5 processes and 10 knowldge ares on dailiy basis..and it is actually working..

Hi Nisha,

Once you understnd the process  no need to remebr ITTO. Ask yourself why you need  a particular in put /output.If you are thorough with concepts  no need to memorize ITTOS, it will automatically  come to your mind.I used pmprepcast   which gives explanation  why an input is required for a particular process.More over PMBOK5  has a comon terminology  and easy flow of process compared to earlier editions.You dont have to remeber each andevery input/output for the exam .PMP   exam is not a memorization test.

You are actually right..But the questions get so confusing manier time..I get lost..with ITTO..What i have done now..I write it each day for processes and knowlede area..will see if this helps in test.
