PMP Audit Questions
Submitted by amay on Sat, 11/09/2013 - 12:03
Hi Friends,
My application has been selected for an audit.
- I put CBT Nuggets as part of my PM Education. Now I don't know how should I show a proof for this?
- I claimed 224 hours of PM education but only have certificates for 189 hours. Will this be an audit failure?
Any ideas and/or help is highly appreciated.
Thanks

Wrong Education
CBT nuggets is not a REP. U need 35 hours of training from an REP. Registered education provider. So this wont count. They will reject your application.

PMP Application Audit
Hi Raghav,
Thanks for your reply. But as I said, CBT Nuggets is only a part of my 240+ hours of training. Even if I omit this one still I have more than enough (35+ hrs) to pass the eligibility for PM Education.
Let me re-explain my question. If I fail to submit certs or docs for CBT Nuggets which I put in my application BUT still have enough total time (180+ hrs) of documented training for PM Education by R.E.P.s, does it lead to an audit failure?
Thanks for your time and help.
P.S.
CBT Nuggets is a PMI R.E.P.

Education
When u complete a course from REP, you get a course code along with the certificate. If you enter that course code, only that will be taken for audit. (if audited)

Just mail the PMI guys and
Just mail the PMI guys and ask about your dilema. They are very helpful and actually try to help you pass the audit, provided you were not untruthful. I too had a similar problem I could only provide proof for part of the training hours required and they accepted. They do accept the other details provided and pass you if you still qualify after removing the parts for which you dont have proof.
