Just wanted to thank PMZilla and all forum contributors for providing amazing information.

Made my life a lot easier..  knowing wat to study, how to study and where to go for mock tests  !! 

I decided to get PMP certified sometime last year and attended a study-group last summer. Never prioritized this until October of 2012. I started my application couple of times but never finished it till Nov. last week.

Got the application approved in 5 days and was not audited. So shceduled the exam on Dec-27th. It was postponed because of the snow storm here in north-east. Finally took the exam yesterday and passed !! 

About the Exam -

Questions were not super lengthy but about 60% of them were 4 lines or so.

Atleast 35 Quant questions. (15 on Cost related(not all are straightforward), 8 on CPM (1-tough), EMV, etc)

Quality Assurance Vs. Quality Control (multiple questions)

Conflict Resolution  Techniques (4)

Devlop Proj Team Vs. Manage Project Team .. 2/3

ITTO's -- 10 /11 (didnt expect so many -- but was able to figure out many of them)

My preparation -- 

on and off summer of last year and then..

Nov-Dec (2hours on weekdays, 6 hours on weekends)

Rita 7th edition-- 2 times  (practice questions -end of chapters)

PMBok -- 2 times

Took many of the mock tests mentioned here on pmzilla along with couple of paid tests by PMstudy.

Lessons Learned -- 

I read Rita twice even before looking at the PMBok.. then took the free mock test on pmstudy and 

it was bad.. I think i scored about 68%.. Then looking at the mistakes, I started referring to PMBok and realized my mistake. So started going through the PMBok line by line. 

For the exam I brain dumped page-43 and all Quant formulas.. i referred to it multiple times.. to verify my answers. I have not memorized the ITTO's but revised them multiple times in the last 5 days.. 

Didnt take a break.. first 50 questions took 75 mins.. so had to sit n relaz for a min and then speed up a little. was left with 11 question and 3 mins left.. i know.. so rushed thru 3 of them and did a guess job on others.. i didnt even finish the last question before the screen timed out.. was not super confident if i got thru.. but thank god.. saw the Congratulations screen after a minute and half... 

Please dont do the same mistake.. dont waste too much time on any 1 question. At the start, dont panic and leave it marked it u are not confident.. the mind set and the questions at the start are intimidating for some.. i swear i felt the questions at the last were much easier and i missed out on answering them...
