Is PMP good for me?

 Hi,

I have 6 year of work experience in data analytics in Banking and telecommunication domain. My profile is more on sales and marketing side. I am working as a Sales business analyst.

I would like to go for PMP but I am not sure whether this will help me in long run or not? 

 

Would be great if someone can throw some light on this.

My Opinion - 

 I think it completely depends on what you are doing and what would you like to do in future...I would say if you are managing small or big projects in your analytic domain, would like to pursue on managing bigger and complex project in future and want to grow in management ladder then PMP should be a plus.

Please do remember just PMP does not give the big jump in the ladder but it does give you good edge over others if you have this certificate and also most of the major organizations world wide give value to this certificate....
