PMP Noob - Process Flow * NEED HELP*

Hi all,

I have completed the 35 hours PMP training last year but haven't really prepared for the exam. But right now I've set a tentative exam date for August.I've been going through the PMBOK and Rita's material for the last two weeks. What I find is what one basically needs is an understanding of the flow of processes as per PMI standards which I couldnt find from my training,PMBOK or Ritas process chart. Can anyone present the process flow in a simple manner so that I can kick start the preparations in full swing??

An brief explanation of Rita's process chart will also do.

Hi Chullan88

You might find PMBOK 5 process interaction charts bit complicated, but all that is needed is - understanding of process purpose, inputs, TT & outputs. Once you understand these( not memorize), process interactions(process flow as you refer it) are easy to remember, and yes, you don't have to memorize those process interaction charts.

PMBOK 5 has process group table and every other prep book will have it for sure. I found study by knowldege area easier than study by process group
