PTM preparation SS?
Submitted by krantikumar50 on Mon, 07/09/2012 - 08:47
Hi SS,
I am at a severe loss when it comes to Project Time Management or PTM. This could be attributed to the fact that I have never done this ever. I feel, PTM, was the biggest reason for my waterloo.
I am at a loss when it comes to forward pass, backward pass, et al. PMBOK, incidentally, further compounds the issue.
Please suggest me a way to get out of this quandary. This would be a big time help, as always.
Warm regards, KK....

PTM is one of the time taking
PTM is one of the time taking and tough chapter but if you understand it’s scoring. Read the chapter from Rita, Headfirst and Andy to understand more. PMPBOK is not suitable to understand PTM.
Practice some network diagram. You should get those from good mock test. 4-5 practice should be sufficient.
In PMP exam, always draw the network diagram when you see a question for the first time as more questions on the same diagram can be seen later in your exam.
