Resolution from www.PMSimu.com
Very good: "Immediately start the closing process group"
Here is the resolution from http://www.pmsimu.com/review/548
You do not have time, budget or the authority to keep working in the project without the sponsor's permission. Remember: the project is not yours, it is from the sponsor.
The closing phase should be triggered in both cases, if the work is completed or if the project is suspended or cancelled. By this way, the project manager have the opportunity to store and document the unfinished work, cancel contracts with providers, evaluate lessons learned and evaluate if some extra actions are needed to interrupt the activities.

I have a question
Acceptance is done in Verify Scope, which is part of Monitoring and Controlling Process Group.
In that case, what is the difference between Acceptance in Verify Scope and Acceptance in Closing Process Group

Acceptance
Simple differenc is, acceptance in Verify Scope proces is for each and every individual deliverable whereas accpetance in the closing process group is for the product or end result as a whole.

Another sample about Closing from http://pmsimu.com/question/556
Considering the following scenario:
Sharing ratio: 75:25
Target cost: $58,000
Actual cost: $50,000
Target fee: $7,000
Maximum fee: $15,000
Minimum fee: $2,000
What would be the gain of a seller in the end of a Cost Plus Incentive Fee contract?

I am still finding conflicting answers to questions on this
'Where is product acceptance done'
Sometimes its Verify Scope and Sometimes is closing.
Which one will be correct in exam?
