Rita Mulachy Fast Track
Submitted by kansh on Sat, 01/10/2015 - 16:02
I have been getting around 65 to 70 % in the Rita Mulachy fast track exams
Scordo around 78 to 82 %
PM Study got 70% today
I found Scordo and PMStudy quite close, PMStudy is slightly on the tougher side.
But Rita I am finding way difficult. Is the actual exam that tough ? Should I try giving more of Rita exams ? Or should I switch to HF and Oliver Lehman exams ?

Would suggest to do Scrobo
Would suggest to do Scrobo lite from 14 to 18 at one shot and time yourself. You should be able to get around 80% there.
Complete all the questions and excercise from the Rita book.
Atlest 4 full lenght exams should be give so you get a good sense of time for the real exam. Consistently get a score of 80% +
Oliver 175 is good ... it is way tough than the real exam but will get you thinikng deep on several topics.

Are You Learning from Your Practice Tests?
Colleagues,
I constantly read that people are taking PMP practice tests in this forum, and that's terrific.
But what I never read, is that people studied their question mistakes and learned from them in a systematic way.
When I studied for and passed the PMP test, I took many practice tests that amounted to 1000 questions. And when I had a question wrong in "study mode", I would take a computer snapshot of the error.
Although most computers have a built-in snapshot feature (I was a technical writer once), I used SnagIt software for my entire PMP journey.
I don't make make any money telling you that SnagIt software was proably my "secret software" in passing the PMP test.
So take your practice tests, that's terrific. But learn from your test mistakes by taking computer snapshots and storing those "mistakes" on your computer.
Don't just "take" practice tests, "learn" from your mistakes.
Best Wishes in Passing the PMP,

Both HF and Oliver are not
Both HF and Oliver are not close to real exam. They are only good for practice, one is easy one is tough.

Rita fast Track is Good for Comparison
If you are able to get good score from RITA Fast Track and Super PMP you are good to go for Exam.
In PM Study what i observe is questions are routing directly to PMBOK Guide concepts but in Real exam you will get more situational and Lengthy Questions.

Hi,
Hi,
Honestly speaking during my preparation I have not benfitted much from Rita's Fast track. The questions are made according to Rita's book .But PMP exam is based on PMBOK. This is the subtle difference between fast track and other exam simulators. I found scordo, pmzilla, pablolledo ,pmstudy in alliance with the exam.Rita's book is an excellent reference to understand the concepts. Though exam contains lengthy questions they are few in number. Most of the questions contain two or three lines. For some people they might have recived more lengthy questions. please note this is my personal opinion. I have scored 75-80 percentage in scordo and pablolledo simulators.pmstudy around 75% .
