Sensitivity Analysis & Influence Diagram
Submitted by PKMeiyappan.PMP... on Sat, 12/08/2012 - 10:15
All,
Could someone help me in understanding the Influence Diagram and Sensivitiy Analysis? I understand that the sensitivity analysis is used for analyzing the risk to determine how much impact it could make. I couldn't find any on Influence Diagram except that its very close with Decision Tree analysis from Google.
Thanks in advance.

Process -Identify risk - T&T - Diagramming technique - INfluence diagram is a type of this technique - just to identify the risk, -- figure can be seen in google images
Process -Perform Quantitative risk Analysis -- it is numerical assessment - of identified and qualitatively analysed Risks - and Sensetivity analysis is a type of a technique called - modeling techniques of this process.
Tarnedo diagram is an example of this technique.
what is difference, apart from above:
SA-- have always numerical values and analysis,
ID -- just a graphical representation, without any values.
SA -- study if one factor changed how over all or all other factor will be affected.
ID -- record - an idle or just an present identified scenario, without any analysis.
SA --- Always one reason -- effects observed at all objects (variables)
ID -- Any number of reasons (variables) -- any number of effects (variables)
