This is just one PMs perspective on the certification process.  I hope it helps you get ready.  I hope you succeed.  I hope you find it more enjoyable and rewarding than I did. 

I wanted to wait a short time before posting my thoughts on the exam and the certification process, just to decompress a bit and to make sure I understood what had happened to me before I offered anyone else advice.  Let’s say I tested within the last year.
