Weird Earned Value Question

Question : If the Cost Variance is negative and the SPI is smaller than one, what does this indicate?
 
A.) Your project is ahead of budget but behind schedule
B.) Your project is ahead of budget but on schedule
C.) Your project is behind budget and ahead of schedule
D.) Your project is behind budget and behind schedule
 
What should be the correct answer ?
 
I know its behind schedule but what is 'Ahead of Budget' and 'Behind Budget' ?
 
I tried understanding , googled but couldn't get a satisfactory explaination which can stuck in my head.

Ahead of budget means you will not be spending all the money 

Behind budget means you will overshoot the money allocated.
