What is correct way to raise change request

Hello Guys,

Please let me know the correct way to raise any change request in any process .

What I understood about change process are like this

1- Analyze the impact of change request
2- Create change request
3- After approval , update change request
4- Update the base line and other project documents

but , I have observed that in some questions "Change request proposal are created directly without impact analysis".

Could you please explain me if I am missing something in change process.

Raising Change request is different from Change request management process. What you have outlined above, are steps after the change request was raised.

Change Request will be raised by Client, there may be a formal process in place to outline how changes are to be raised. Only after the changes are raised and documented properly, you can analyze the impact
