What kinds of organization

After completed the project crew back to functional organization and again back when new project comes.

01. Projectized

02. Functional

03. Strong Matrix

04. Weak Matrix

Project Crew = Project Team + Project Manager.

The proect crew is jumping from projects to FO and FO to projects - It means the project manager is not a full time project manager. 

Therefore, it is not Projectized, Strong or Balanced Matrix as in these three the project manager enjoys the Full Time position.

Now, only two choices left - Weak Matrix or Functional Matrix.

The question does not mentioned anything about project expediter or coordinator or project manager.

It seems to me that the answer is going to be a Functional Organization. 

I will 'lock' # 2.

i think its a matrix organization. the question says that project team (e.g. engineers) are back under enginnering manager when the project is completed. so while the project was ongoing PM had control over the team but now since the project is finished team is back to their home which is under funcitonal manager.(according to Rita page 32 team members maintain a "home" ). it is upto functional manager now to allocate them in any new project where they are required. how you assumed from the question that PM has no authority. this is just my opinion and i m not an expert.

Project Crew includes Project Manager + Project Team.

If Project Manager is going back to his day-time job after the project is completed. It means he does not have a full time position as a Project Manager. Therefore, it can not be a matrx.

Do you think that Project Manager is not the part of Project Crew ?
